Why I am getting double jquery? (4 posts)

I was doing page analysis from Pingdom and GTmetrix, and I notices that I am getting jquery versions 1.7.2 and 1.8.3 in the page.

I have deregister jquery from functions.php and manually included(v. 1.8.3) in HTML code, which is also been shown at source code.

I can't understand from where v1.7.2 it is coming?

On your home page I'm only seeing jQuery load once.

However, you may want to check out this plugin Use Google Libraries

It uses Google's public CDN to load jQuery and other popular js libraries.

But I am already using those Google libraries. Problem is that they are coming twice :(

Are you using a plugin called Vanilla Forums? If so, try disabling it temporarily to see if that is where the call to jQuery 1.7.2 is coming from.

If you click the arrow on the right side of the Pingdom page you posted you will see index.php?p=/vanilla/discussion/embed/? in the request headers for the second call to jQuery.

    Hope that helps :)
