• I am getting tired and tired and tired of my wordpress post showing up even when i haven’t published the post.

    WHat is wrong?
Wordpress so powerful this tiny thing can’t be fixed?

I even put visibility in private and yet its still public. When not published please don’t show.
    Am just annoyed now. Very.

    Draft posts are not public.

You can see them because you are logged in and are the author of the post.

I still can’t reproduce this. Drafts aren’t visible on any of my test sites unless I log in first.

How are you making this happen?

Switch to the default theme and turn off all the plugins you’re running. Does it still happen? If not, then perhaps you should look closer at the theme/plugins.

well how bout you do this.

Have a place on your homepage or website for recent posts and then you will see draft posts as public.

    Yep.

Okay. Still not happening. I dropped the Recent Posts widget into my sidebar. None of my draft posts (of which I have many-times-many) are showing up there.

If you’re using some other type of code to show these “recent posts”, then probably that code is doing it wrong. WordPress itself does not show drafts publicly.
