• My Header Image and Color in Presentation has been changed and I have clicked Update header. When I view site, these changes are not reflected. Any idea why?

My entire WP directory is chmodded a+rwx so it’s not a permissions issue.

    Cheers
    Claire

  • Which theme are you using?

I have experienced several which fail to change the header images – if you could explain which theme you are using, I may be able to help. Also, there are ways you could change this in other ways, but that would involve a much longer answer! What theme is this question for?

Sorry guys, it’s the default WordPress theme, nothing fancy or complicated. the header font colours have been changed and our charity logo inserted in the top right corner, but though these are showing in Presentation/Header and Color they aren’t showing on the site itself.

Thanks for the responses so far.

I am seeing a similar issue on mine.

Default theme. No additional stuff added to the header. The font color will change. The header top/bottom colors will be retained when I Update Header. (The color does not change on that page; only the hex’s are saved.) Visiting the site confirms that only the font color has been changed.

I have tested this using both the color pickers and the advanced mode using a variety of standard and non-standard colors. Every time the hex is saved and no color change (from the default blue) appears–any OS, any browser.
