this only happens on the homepage... (click on an individual post and the sidebar appears in the right place!)

    any ideas? http://www.thismusicgame.com

Typically it's from an image too wide or malformed uri or similar.
Edit your last post or the one before it and see what is messed up.

    Fix this one first: http://www.thismusicgame.com/becoming-a-music-producer/1st-blog-post-ever-whatup-world/

It validates, but in single view it has no sidebar.

What's this doing for you? <div align="left" /> (is right in the middle of the post)

wow i hadn't noticed that the two bottom posts have no sidebar either when you click on them - thanks for pointing that out--this problems bigger than i thought.

oh, everything appeared left and right justified when i first published the post, so i left justified so the words wouldn't stretch across paragraph.

i'm gonna try taking it out and see what happens...
