   Hi, I just recently installed WordPress onto my hosting account. I edited the following details as Admin:

   WordPress address (URL) -- http://www.mydomain.com/blog

   Blog address (URL) -- http://www.mydomain.com/blog

   Now, when I go to http://www.mydomain.com/blog it redirects to: http://www.mydomain.com/mydomain/blog

   I want it to just be http://www.mydomain.com/blog.

   What's going on and how can we fix it? Thanks.

   in what folder on your server did you install the WordPress files?

   I'm having the same issue with 2.8 I installed in the root folder.

   You have to ensure that the site URL and the home URL for your blog have been correctly set. You'll find this on the settings page of the wp-admin section of your blog.
