   I have this blog entry with a PhotoBucket video at

   http://lerner.net/blog/2007/04/09/hao-chan-fetches/

   If I edit the entry, the embed tag turns into an ibed tag, whatever that is, and the video no longer embeds. I have to repaste the embed code again.

   Why does that happen and how can I prevent that from happening?

   I guess nobody has any info on this? Is there no way of turning off that "feature"? Right now, every time I re-edit a post I have to reset that embed tag manually...

   Yes, this happens to me, too. I'm embedding video from ustream.tv and whenever I change the page in which the video is embedded, I have to embed it again.

   Upgrade to the latest WordPress. This was a TinyMCE bug that has since been fixed.
