   I have a website, http://mpidirect.com, where I have WordPress blog running on a Thesis theme. For some reason I cannot see an Amazon advertising widget I put in my sidebar 1 (left side of content) in my computer, whereas, other computers do see the widget.

   Does anyone have any idea why this might be the case?

   Hi,

   Check with these options;

   - Check with default theme.
   - Disable all the plugins
   - upgrade your wordpress to the latest version

   -- I'm seeing it...running Firefox on a Mac OS X 10.5

   -- Is there any difference in the browser/operating systems between the computers you tested on?

   Jkovis, you are echoing what I said when I wrote, "other computers do see the widget." I appreciate your response though. Do you have any ideas on how I can make it so I see the Amazon advertising widget on my computer?

   Hi Shane,

   I tried your suggestion to disable all the plugins. It did not seem to work. Do you have any other suggestions. Don't hold back to be nice. Tell me what you think. I will admit that I am a technical idiot--that's a step or two below dummy, I know, but facts are facts. I hardly understand computer and internet technology at all.

   I need help with the issue.

   JKovis,

   On your last point; the answer is that does not seem to make any difference. Every other computer that I know of can see it but I can't. Still to answer you question. My wife's and my computer both the Windows XP OS. Her computer is a Dell laptop and mine is an IT built Desktop PC.
   The IT that built it worked for us in our internet cafe and computer shop in the Philippines.

   It turns out the culprit was a plugin: Adblock Plus. I disabled it and all was fine with my sidebar advertising widget. I could see it again.
