WHY CANT I LOG INTO MY BLOG????? (5 posts)

    i changed the settings to my blog so that no one can see it.

    then i asked to reset the password aand all they gave me was the username.

    ive tried the last three passwords i had but they dont work.....

    Who is "they"? Do you have a blog set up with wordpress.com? (this forum is for self-hosted blogs).

    WordPress.com is a managed blogging solution. All the donkey work is done for you. It's easy to set up, no maintenance, you pretty much just blog and don't need to know anything technical. Customisation of your blog is more limited.

    WordPress.org is for those who wish to host their own blog on their own server. The technical skill level required is a bit higher, you're responsible for upgrades, backup and maintenance, but you can customise your blog to look how you want and make it do what you want so long as you've got the time, inclination and skill.

    I would expect you to be logging in with:
    http://adkljflaksdjf.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    But, if you're using .com, then there's some dedicated support forums for that - see the link that buddha trance posted above.
