Why are my pages displaying the date and category? (3 posts)

I've just applied a template to my site and when I add pages they appear as Posts. The date is at the top and below the content it says: "Filed Under - ADMIN"

I understand that pages automatically get filed under whatever you have set as the default category for posts, but I don't want that showing when people view my pages.

Have a look at what I'm talking about: http://www.razorthread.com

How do make it so the date and category does not show on my pages??

Most likely, you don't have a page.php template.
    More: Template_Hierarchy.

Create one: save your index as page.php and edit/delete.

How do I create one? Do I have to have a specific software?
