Along the bottom of the ACP there are a few posts that appear. At first I thought these were "official" posts from WordPress.org but today I got one for "Yahoo Hack Day" from a site at http://ma.tt/2008/09/yahoo-hack-day/ .
It certainly doesn't sound like something that should be endorsed by WordPress.

It's an aggregation site, which copies all the posts of the various major WordPress developers. Matt is the lead developer of WordPress.
