whole blog “squashed” in safari

hi, forgive me if this has been covered… I can’t find it.

so, I set up a wordpress blog for a group of people, and apart from suddenly putting the whole blog in italics by putting a read more tag before an /em tag, they seemed to be staying out of trouble…

but a couple of days ago, this thing started happening, and only in safari (i’ve looked in ffox, seamonkey and flock and they’re fine) where each post is squished up to the top of the content area.

I have no idea if it’s something I’ve done, they’ve done (they only have “editor” rights…and one has admin rights but knows to stay out of the backroom or i’ll chop his hands off) or what.

Any ideas as to what might cause this would be gratefully accepted. thanks.
(i will be upgrading to 2.2 but not quite yet… unless someone tells me this is a 2.1.3. prob) 🙂
