   I upgraded, now when logging in all I get is a white page. Any ideas?
   I went in and changed all plugins to plugins.hold. Tried it and didn't help, so I changed them back.

   Clear browser cache and cookies.

   If that doesn't work, download 2.8 zip from Download tab at top of this page, extract files to your local machine.

   Follow steps 7 and 8 of Upgrading WordPress Extended.

   You did upload the files using ASCII file transfer mode, correct?

   I am using WS_FTP Professional and it is set to auto and automatically
   detects ASCII for the transfers.
