   I went through the automatic upgrade and everything went good until the next step was to remove files from last upgrade and when going to the page I got the White Wall of Death, now when logging in all I get is a white page. Now What?

   Same thing happened to me. Did an automatic upgrade, and it said it finished successfully, but now everything is a white wall. I can't access my blog or admin. Is this likely a plugin incompatibility? I'll try to deactivate all my plugins, and see if WordPress comes back.

   I cant access the dashboard and wp-admin...everything is just a white wall...How I can deactivate the plugins if I cant even enter the dashboard.

   The blog works fine but cant access the wp-admin

   Help!!!

   Yep, it was my plugins. Go here to find out how to deactivate your plugins from phpMyAdmin or from FTP.

   Once I deactivated my plugins, I could access wp-admin again, and then I reactivated the plugins, and everything worked fine. Not sure why the plugins didn't work when upgrading... strange.

   I de-activated my plugins in hopes that it would make my site responsive, no luck. I can access wp-admin, but I cannot access my main site any longer. Any thoughts?

   I'm having the same trouble. I tried doing the plugins thing and it didn't help.

   DOWNGRADE

   that's the only thing that helped me. i'm checking the forums before i upgrade next time.

   Well I ftp my plugins as per direction. I still cannot get in, I go to the login page ok, then the white wall. I thought about downgrading but cannot get in to do it, any more ideas?

    Same issue and got this error message:

    This thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279104?replies=56 has a bunch of information about the disastrous automatic upgrade. Apparently, it has caused a bunch of problems with a lot of people.

    I didn't use the automatic upgrade, and still have problems!
