   I was given a site to work on by a client, with out thinking I made a bunch of edits in the FTP files. Not think that it was a wordpress site I have continued to do so.

   Recently I ran into an issue on the site, I could not edit a piece of the site. So did some looking around, and sure enough figured out it was a WordPress site.

   Now I have an issue. When I tried logging into my WP-Admin page, it created the white screen of death.
   I have been reading up on this for a while now, And have tried a few solutions. Nothing is working. How can i fix the white screen of death from the back end, when I have made lots of changes.

   O and yes, I don't have the back up files, was making minor changes did not think to create it. Yes, I regret it.

   Own up to the client and hire a WordPress developer to get it functioning again and then starting working through the codex to learn.

   The Client is fine with it, We just want to figure it out. Any other advice?

   I made edit's to the Index file. I believe that is the only file.

   I tried deleting the index file, it did not work.

   Which index file? What directory?

   Index.html, in the main folder. I did not edit any PHP. just some html.
