I recently updated my WordPress site and ended up with a corrupted theme.php file and the White Screen of Death. My admin dashboard is not accessible. When I try to access the page using Filezilla I can only see a single directory with a .STATPASSWD file in it. I do not have permission to download said .STAT file nor upload any new files. I can access an admin page of e107 CMS, but I’m unsure it corresponds with the current WordPress site. When I change the core theme in e107 it has no effect on the WSD.

I have no webdesign or coding experience and would very much appreciate any help explained in a rudimentary manner.

    Thank you.

    HourChildren:

    Options:

    1. Modify the rights of your Filezilla user (FTP user) or create a new FTP user. Both of these would be done by logging into your web hosting account. Each web host is different so you may want to contact your web host.

    2. Log into your web hosting account. Find a file manager and upload the theme.php file through the file manager.
