brandonparisMy site (http://optimasystems.ca/pos_division) has never had problems working . But then i decided to upgrade to the new version of wpml plug in and all of a sudden white screen of death
This is what i tried but failed.
#1. tried renaming plugin folder. FAIL
#2. tried renaming different plug in folders. FAIL
#3. Tried renaming the theme folder and it still wouldn't even go to the default theme. FAIL
#4. Enabling the built-in debugging feature. this is the message i get
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function icl_register_string() in /var/www/vhosts/optimasystems.ca/httpdocs/pos_division/wp-content/themes/ventura/functions.php on line 3"
i have no clue what that means. well i know where that is but i don't know what i have to do to fix that problem. please advise!
I know for a fact that it had nothing to do with plug in or theme compatibility because it has been working with the same plug ins for half a year. i have not added any new plug ins. all i have did was try to upgrade wpml and right away i got this white blank screen problem. i have to get this fixed before my boss sees this in the morning!~ please help!
