   I've just created a wordpress account, and when I log in to wordpress via my webpage, i just get a white screen. I have never logged in to wordpress before, and have not made any changes to the wp-config.php file (other than what I need to get wordpress to my website).

   Try re-uploading all files & folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
