White Screen after .htaccess edit

    I was working on creating a custom 404 when I added code to the .htaccess file. I checked the site and white screen! I backed up the .htaccess file before I made the edit.

    I have tried many different online fixes and nothing seems to be working including reloading the .htaccess file I backed up and nothing seems to be working.

    I have access to the wp-admin.

    Please help!

    I just got it working.
    Basically I had added a snippet of code to the header.php file and new code in the 404.php file. I changed both back to what they were before and that solved the issue!

    Before that happened I was attempting to create a custom 404 error page.
