White Label CMS and Child Themes (10 posts)

If anyone is is using White Label CMS and child themes... and having difficulty getting the custom logos to work, here's what's happening: the plugin uses template_directory for the path to custom logos. If one is using child themes, this makes the plugin look for logos in the "images" folder in the PARENT theme, and not the child theme.

Using stylesheet_directly fixes this, if you're comfortable editing plugin files. Otherwise drop your logos into the "images" folder in the PARENT theme. See this quick reference: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/bloginfo#Parameters

    Hi Gappiah,

Thanks for pointing this out. It will be added to the next release.

Is there anything else you would like to see?

    Thanks

You need to either remove the Akismet plugin, or get a Akismet serial, or update the Akismet plugin.

    Hope this helps.

@VideoUserManuals Thanks for responding. I found a better spam plugin and did that. So are you saying you don't use Akismet?

I got the same problem, and solved it with your help... thanks!

I just wanted to point out a typo in your post gappiah.... it is stylesheet_directory and not stylesheet_directly as you typed.

    Thanks again!

A bit disappointed that this was not fixed in the recent update. Is it scheduled for another update?
