I purchased a Word Press Template (Ultra Web Studio #121611) that has links, icons and "Read More" buttons in the "White Box" areas on the Home Page. I have downloaded the full version of the template and have added several plug-ins but I'm having a tough time trying to find how to add aditional elements & links to this area of the my website. Your can take a look to what I've completed so far and would welcome your thoughts and any suggestions you can give to a first time Word Press user: http://www.remotecontrolsystems.com

    Thanks,
    Rick

    I'm using WP version 3.0.3

You should ask the theme developer.
Iy¡t would seem to me that those are widget areas.
go to your admin page, then under appearance, widgets,
and see what widget is in which space.

    Daiv,

I have contacted the developer many times but with little corporation.
I have checked the widgets, but I'm unsure which widget and where to uplaod that widget into what area?

Use the WordPress default text widget, add one to an widget area in the widget admin. Add text to explain which text widget it is, add a new text widget to each available widget area,
check your results on the front side.

    Best of luck

    Daiv,

There's not a section called "Widget Admin" in the widget design area. Do you mean, "Page Widget Area?" To the right of the available widgets are six page widgets to place your widgets into to appear on the right column of your website. Listed in this order, Blog Widget Area, Page Widget Area, Testimonials, Footer Left, Footer Middle, & Footer Right.

When I placed the Text widget into the Page Widget Area, there's no defining area to select where the widget will be located on the website.

    Suggestions,
    Rick
