Hi
I am new to wordpress and have been trying to create a static portfolio site with no blog features, here's where I am so far using the theme wpfolio:

The theme works ok in firefox but not in IE - navigation bar shifts to the right in 6&7 and footer is missing in 6,7&8.
Any recommendations?

Not sure why you are using WP for this type of site except maybe it is easier for you to manage. You will need to know css to fix these two issues. The nav shifting might mean you need a float left tag in there.
It is loading slowly for me right now, which if this is accurate and not my connection today, you need to fix. That means you need to save all the images in an optimized web format.
It looks great so far via Firefox.

Ok thanks, guess I'm going to have ask someone to help me out - I'm no coder! I used wordpress for the cms so it would be easy to update for the illustrator herself.
