   I read some outside recommendations on improving WordPress speed such as eAccelerator, Xcache, I also see some plugins for doing the same job. I don't know which one can do a better job.

   Would anyone give some advise?

   I would recommend 2 Plugins to choose from:

   1. W3 Total Cache
   2. WP Super Cache

   To me W3TC has more functions for good speed ranking including CDN option.
