I'm confused...I just got a wordpress.org site a couple months ago and am customizing it. I was looking for a social networking counterpart - was thinking of Ning - but then just discovered MU and Buddy Press and heard they will be merging with WP but probably not for a while.
Any advice on how I should proceed - should I switch over to MU and Buddy Press now or just wait for the merge? Would it be difficult to transfer my theme, files, customizations, etc to the MU if I did that? I am not a programmer but I picked up enough to make a nice site.
Any suggestions appreciated.
