Which plugins? (5 posts)

Hi. I'm looking for a few different plugins and wondering which ones would be best.

First of all, I want members to be able to submit (text) content. A blog allows this, but not quite as I want. I want people to be able to post under various categories and be able to submit multi-page content. So for example, a member puts up article 1 under a category then decides to add more so they post article 2 which automatically links to article 1 so you can keep clicking next to view the next article page by that member and not have to go searching for it. I also need it to be really obvious how to post like a button under the categories saying post content.

I don't want them to have too many options when submitting either. Just a simple text editor, the category options for new content or adding to a previous post and the ability to edit/delete.

Second, I want people to be able to follow/subscribe to content and/or members so they know when new content has been submitted.

Third, I want a report button so that members can report any spam/abusive content.

Not sure if this is possible, but any plugins or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Take a look at the Advanced custom fields plugin.

Which? There's a few that say that. I tried installing two - one did nothing as far as I could see and the other expected keys for something and was on about purchasing things (which i don't want to do).

loads you can do with this, you probably want to use post relationships. You'll need to know some basic php and have a pretty good understanding of how WordPress works.

Thanks. I think that's the one I installed, but I didn't understand it so I deleted it and now no plugins seem to want to install, it keeps giving me an error. It was doing that earlier too so I'll have to try again later.

I don't know PHP and I only just started using WordPress like 24 hours ago. I'd say I've got a good understanding of it in general, but not so sure about for this.
