Which file to unzip.

I downloaded the WordPress 3.2.1 version, and I have no clue what to unzip. I know how to unzip and extract files, but none of the files says I can extract them. The file name is “wordpress” and when I click on it, it just has a bunch of junk but I don’t see anything to extract on there. Somewhere in my documents I found a file called “wordpress 3.2.1” and extracted it, but it literally just brought me back to the “wordpress” folder after that. Someone please help?
