   Can someone advise me as to which version of MySQL database I should be using for WordPress on Godaddy.com Linux Shared Unlimited Hosting?

   Either works, but use the latest version available. It's a tad faster on some queries.

   Also, switch your hosting configuration to use PHP 5 as well. This is a big improvement on GoDaddy hosting.
