Where to Stick PlugIn? (1 post)

Hey guys I have a plugin called ms_lightwindow, which is kind of like lightbox but works for many other things. Anyways, this plugin comes into effect when specially crafted links are inserted into posts, such as . After trying to optimize my site I realized that the lightwindow plugin stuff downloads the second I visit the home page, this is because it's attached to the wp_head event.

Like I mentioned earlier, it's only needed when posts contain those special links, and not all of them do, so I'm wondering if there's a better place to put this because the plugin uses a stylesheet and three javascripts including two redundant ones, prototype.js v1.5.1.1 and effects.js v1.7.1 beta 2. I know you're thinking I should modify it so that it uses WP's, but they are different versions (Newer). These scripts are pretty big so it's unnecessary load each time a user visits my site (Regardless of cache).

    I would appreciate any help.
