Although this plugin seems to be very powerful, it's extremely confusing. After reading all the documentation and watching several tutorials on Youtube, I still don't know how to set key words for the homepage. Such a basic thing I can't even do. Please help.

I created a specific WordPress "Page" for my homepage, so in the edit screen for that page I have access to this plugin's configuration tool for that page. I scroll down below the edit pane, and there is a Yoast SEO pane. (If that pane is not visible, at the top of the page is a tab which lets you choose the visible panes/widgets)
This is reflected in this plugin's admin pages.
Dashboard > SEO > Title & Metas and then look near the top for the "Home" tab. In the Home tab you'll find "You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself".
