The way you set yarpp_support
looks correct. Go to YARPP settings and look in “The Pool” and “Relatedness” settings… if these are hidden, go to the “screen options” tab.

I did, but I can’t see my custom post type nevertheless.
Hmm… can you maybe post the complete post type registration code you’re using? I can see if I can reproduce the issue on my end.

I’m confused. Did you modify your copy of e-paper to add the yarpp_support
?

No, of course not. That wouldn’t be update-safe. I added the line above to the functions.php of my child theme.
Oh, well, I think that’s why it’s not working. You can’t use register_post_type
to “overwrite” the settings of a custom post type that’s already registered. I suggest you contact the author of e-paper and have them add the yarpp_support line of code to their custom post type declaration.
Does using add_post_type_support
work? YARPP should be made to work with that if it doesn’t already.
Also interested in this, I’d like to do the same thing using Types.
Oh yes! add_post_type_support
should work. Please give that a try and let me know if it doesn’t work.
Can you provide the code for the “add_post_type_support()” to add to my function.php? I’m not really savvy 🙁
Oh no, I’m sorry, I replied too quickly. add_post_type_support
will not work… I’ll have to think about this. In the mean time, I suggest you contact the author of the e-paper plugin to have them add that yarpp_support line to their code.
Funny – the one mention of this on the “Types” forum says to contact the YARPP author to find where to include the needed code.
Is there a simple way to enable yarpp on my “Types” created CPT?

An additional option whether to include Custom Post Types or not would be a good idea yes!
@norcalal If you are in touch with the Types creator, I would suggest you forward him the information on yarpp_support in the YARPP readme. Thank you for trying to make this happen! 🙂
