   insert the code in footer.php before </body> tag :)

   I am trying to insert the google code on each static page and my posts page.

   The footer.php of the theme you are using...

   The footer will be included on every page, so you only need add it in one place...

   That would be on your themes folder.
   Example : http://www.yoururl.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/yourtheme/footer.php
