    Whereabouts would one insert simple html code for a blogs Bookmark Icon?

    You don't, you put a favicon.ico in the same directory, and its all handled automatically

    If you want, feel free to add the following code to your html head (in the WP Header template):

    <link rel="Shortcut Icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

    Just place a favicon.ico in the blog directory? I tried this, but so far its not picking it up...

    Ideas?

    It's there, I can see it.

  6. It needs to be in the root directory of your domain. You only get one favicon per domain.

    Sorry for the double posting - thank you very much for the replies. I guess people can see it, for some reason I cant! lol

    I tried using IE and Opera, cant see it in either... curious..
