I’m using a plugin (wow slider) that can generate a custom slider, and output both shortcode and PHP code for it. But how do I insert this slider into my header? Do I enter the PHP code somewhere in my header.php file? If so, where exactly? If not, how do I accomplish this?

  • This page has some basic instructions from WOW themselves, please try to search before you post questions on the forum. Your question all depends on the individual theme and template.

I did, but still did not find a resolution to my issue. I even found the link you posted and attempted to follow the directions, but encountered a problem.

This is the information I was looking for, thanks. The WOW instructions do not explicitly indicate that this is theme-dependent. They merely say, “…add this php code into your header…into the place where you want your slider to appear,”

I wasn’t sure if that applied to you so if it didn’t answer your question perhaps the theme might help one of us here help you.

If you’re all set can you please mark the is topic resolved, because only you can do it and then another volunteer moderator will move on to the next one. Thanks.
