where must short code be entered to post metaslider show?

    I currently think metaslider short code needs to be entered in order to insert the slider into the post, because that’s what the documentation says, but I am ignorant as to where to do this.
    Do I have to enter code every post? that seems risky.
    Media library doesn’t know about the slider?
    Wistful q: is there an “insert” button?
    I made an honest attmept to find this in the forums..

    paste metaslider shortcode into content area of post. I found this info on a site for a different slider, and I tried it with metaslider and it worked. Is this info glaringly obvious somewhere and I missed it? Is that a thread already? lol. its been a long day.
