   Where is Widget data stored in the database? I've done a lot of Googling looking for articles related to this or plugins for Widget data back up and migration, but I have found zero. Just a lot of people complaining that there is no real means of taking it from one install to the other. So I'm really curious; does any one know right off hand?

   Use phpMyAdmin, do a search of the wp_options table for the option_name %LIKE% widget.

   Have noticed that if you edit the content of text widgets directly in the options table, even if you just save it without making any changes, the text widget disappears form the sidebar. Any way to prevent it disappearing?
