Testimonial Rotator
Where is the testimonials page generated by this plugin? (8 posts)

Hi, so far I love this plugin but quickly wondering if its right for me. When I installed the plugin it generated this page...

    http://fundamentaldesigns.us/testimonials/

Where it lists all the testimonials. Somehow it adopted the format of my blog. Which I love! Problem is... The title of the page doesn't show up right and the testimonials read "Posted by Craig Harshbarger in" with no category. Can I fix these two issues? Thanks

No that is my original page I made before I installed this plugin. I'm looking to replace that page. My original question is still unsolved

This page is using the default archive.php template from your theme. You or your developer can create a completely custom look by creating a duplicate of the archive.php and naming it archive-testimonials.php.

In there you can do whatever you need to make it look how you want.

By default this plugin creates it's archive at /testimonials. If you have a page with the same slug it may take the page first. You can try two things.

    1. Go to 'Settings' -> 'Permalinks' and just resave that page.

    2. There is a filter that allows you to change the archive 'slug'. Here is how you can do that: http://halgatewood.com/docs/plugins/testimonial-rotator/change-testimonials-slug/

Thank you for answering that question. What about categories? I'm assuming thats why it say "posted in" with no category.

Correct. The testimonials don't use the standard WordPress category structure. I wish I had built it that way from the beginning but I believe it's too late now.
