    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to edit the slogan, to link an email and add 3 extra spaces between two words. In theme->custom I can't do it and can't find it anywhere in the file editor.

Do you have a clue where a can find it?

    Thanks in advance
    Cheers!

I'm not sure what you mean by slogan - if "tagline" - look under Settings > General

If something else, please provide more info:

    Thanks for answering!

Yes I mean tagline, and I need to edit the html file, in the wordpress html editor y can´t find it, is not in the header php, and I Ctrl+F in every single file the editor displays with no results.

The slogan, "828 022 456 – 655 706 612 [e-mail address]" is not the tagline. The slogan is part of your custom theme. It is not part of WordPress. Ask whoever designed your theme how you can change the slogan.

Thanks Rod, I suppose that is why I can't find it anywhere...

The theme was made with Artisteer so I better look in that direction.

    Thanks again!

In the customize settings of the theme i'm able to add spaces between the numbers and the email by adding &nbsp...

Why when I add the mailto it "doesn't read it as code"?

    Any clues?

Are you adding mailto code looking like this:
    <a href="mailto:name@email.com">Link text</a>

    Yes... is it right??

  9. If you want to add a link that pops up a mail client then yes, that is correct. Though I personally think using contact forms for that is a much better solution.

Thanks for your answer Jan but I don't like the idea of a contact form in the header... :)

  11. That's up to you but I meant making that link to a contact page. ;)

I want to give the fastest possible and visible access to send an email, I thought a nice solution would be to make a email link in the header.I know I can add a link to the header, but I only want the email to be clickable.

    Any other suggestion?
