   In the old versions of WP the manage pages showed the post, page and cateogry id numbers along with the other data. Where is this information now? I need to reference a particular page number but cannot find its actual number.

   that would be under the page's permalink.
   you can format permalinks different ways.

   Roll over any page, post or category with your cursor (while logged in and in the "manage" area of course), and the page, post or cat_id number appears in the progress bar in the bottom of the browser.

   When I try this, I get the name of the page/post, not the ID number???
