    that file is invoked on the fly doing an auto upgrade
    if you're doing it manually, use this plugin

    I have done all the updating, my Blog is back again and running but I want to delete the annoying message in my updates;

    "You have the latest version of WordPress.

    You have the latest version of WordPress. You do not need to update. However, if you want to re-install version 3.0.1, you can do so automatically or download the package and re-install manually:"

    Which according to the codex will be removed after deleting the ".maintenance" file, So can you tell me where can i find this file??

    if there is one it would be in your wordpress root - same place as wp-config.php

    if this is your website, wordpress is installed in web root - look for a folder called public_html or htdocs
    it depends on your host what they use

    It is hidden file like .htaccess you can delete using ftp program or loging in server and select to view hidden files.
    You will see it by .htaccess file.
