  • that file is invoked on the fly doing an auto upgrade
    if you’re doing it manually, use this plugin
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/maintenance-mode/

    I have done all the updating, my Blog is back again and running but I want to delete the annoying message in my updates;

    “You have the latest version of WordPress.

    You have the latest version of WordPress. You do not need to update. However, if you want to re-install version 3.0.1, you can do so automatically or download the package and re-install manually:”

    Which according to the codex will be removed after deleting the “.maintenance” file, So can you tell me where can i find this file??

    if there is one it would be in your wordpress root – same place as wp-config.php

    WordPress Root? is this a folder?

    I mean, I cannot understand the WP Files, will you please tell me the exact location?

    if this is your website, wordpress is installed in web root – look for a folder called public_html or htdocs
    it depends on your host what they use

    Any body here!!! 🙁

    It is hidden file like .htaccess you can delete using ftp program or loging in server and select to view hidden files.
    You will see it by .htaccess file.
