   When I activate my plugins - there is no tab to press to inform the plugin of what to do. There is only: activate, deactivate & edit.

   When you click on plugins - the page you get is "Manage Plugins" - however, there is no "manage" tab.

   How can you use the plugin when you don't have a manage tab?

   I am no expert and am new to using plug-ins myself, but I have seen that often I am able to manage my plugins by either going to SETTINGS or TOOLS in Site Admin.
