I am a newbie who just installed Word Press on my server...Lonex.com.
The Word Press site tells me all about using the Admin panel.
I need to design the site there...buuuut...where the heck is it?
I cannot find the Word Press Admin panel anywhere?
Am I supposed to be looking on my Servers Admin Panel?
On my server Admin Panel I do not see anyway to design this Word Press Blog.
Please help me before I faint! :-)

1) go to http://www.youblog.com/wp-login
2) Then type in your username and password.
Thank you China for your reply...but that URL did not go any place.

Error message said not found.
Same error message as the other URL.
Any ideas???
What is your site's address (www.yourdomain.com)? You should have a "login" link on your WordPress home page. That will take you to your admin panel.
To "design" your site you'll need to install a different theme or hack one yourself. You can modify your "theme" off line on your computer and upload it to wp-content-->themes or change them directly in the admin panel IF you have your theme permissions set to 666 (writeable). Don't forget to set the the permissions back to 644 so you don't get hacked.

Put your OWN web address in that space instead of "your-wordpress-url" or "youblog.com". If your address is something like abcdefg.com, put that in there. Or if it's 12345myblog.net/wordpress/, but that in there and make sure you have /wp-login or /wp-admin AFTER that address!
Do you understand now that "your-wordpress-url" really does mean YOUR wordpress URL? That means you place your own special domain name/URL in there, ok?
If you were already able to install this software but are still having problems, I strongly urge you to use the free services at http://www.wordpress.com.

I have this same problem though. Although using hostmonster.com, I go to myURL.com/wp-admin/ and it says it can't find the url... why is that?
I just finished a transfer (should be finished now) of a domain to a new ns.nameserver. Is that affecting it?
I have tried reinstalling it to no avail. HELP!

Changing name servers can take 24-72 hours to propagate through the web. Calm down, patience, and wait.
