Support » Fixing WordPress » where is header “description”?

• I’m trying to add a text header to my blog. There’s this info from the “Designing Headers” help page:

“You set the blog or website title and description in the Admin > Options panel…. It also adds the description of the site from the Options panel.”

However, in the Options panel the only fields even close are “Weblog Title” and “Tagline.”

Is “tagline” the same as “description”? If I try to make a header using “tagline,” and write something more than, say, ten words or so, it looks like garbage.

Is there a place to enter a header description that I’m missing? Much thanks for any help.

Yes.
It is not designed for 10 words – it is a short tagline… I guess 😉
