   i can't find the "simpleX" folder that should contain the "css" file. can anyone direct me?

   Try looking in wp-content/themes/simplex folder.

   Okay, forgive me, I am totally new to WordPress. Are you saying I should use the link http://www.pinkmaven/wp-content/themes/simplex? I'm obviously clueless:)

   I tried using the theme Editor page and see the Style.css and ie.css files listed at the bottom of the right hand column... I just can't locate the "Simplex" file, "css" file, or the "css.default" file!

   It's style.css in the editor.

   Ah, thank you, I appreciate the response.

   So that means I will edit the style.css file in order to change the header, font color, etc., correct?

   I've created a patch for this theme:
   http://bitfreedom.com/lonestar/

   I did submit this patch to the theme author, but I thought it might help if you want to easily add more css styles.
