   I am looking for the option that deals with file compression. I am using the WP-Cache plugin and it says to make sure that compression is turned off. I am getting a 500 error sometimes and I am just trying to figure out why. If someone could help me find the compression option, it might help with the other problems.

   GZip Compression is an obsolete WP feature if I'm not mistaken; not present on newer versions of WP. The plugin page talks about it, so I wonder if it's been updated to work well with the latest WP version.
