I’m having issues with my Firebug plugin right now, so I’m having trouble figuring this out for myself.

At this site, I’d like to change the color so that these portions of the page are changed to another color.

Where in my style.css would I make this modification?

    Thanks for your help

  • You can’t, not just with styles.css. Those are images. You have to bring them into a program (like Photoshop, Fireworks, whatever) and alter the color, and then re-upload them to your theme.

Bummer. Is there a free software I could use to make those modifications?

I’d imagine that this wouldn’t take but 5 minutes or so to do, if I knew what I was doing, right?

    You might try GIMP…

    Thanks, I will.

How do I go about finding the path to the image (or images) that I need to modify the color for?

When I right click the image on the right of the screen, and go to “View Background Image” it takes me to this little image

I’m trying to identify the path to the image, so that I can download it, modify it in GIMP, and re-upload it with the same exact name, if possible.

I viewed the source code of the homepage, and searched in for .png and .jpg’s, but I didn’t find any image that color when I went to those URL’s.

Nevermind, I figured out how to change the color in the “WP Look Panel”
