   I have a ms setup and finally decided to activate the pings - the list is supposed to be in Setings > Writing from all info that I can find but it is not there.

   Could someone let me know where it has moved to?

   Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article (slows down posting.)

   In multi-site, you need to go to Super Admin->Sites and edit each site. pingomattic is on by default, look for that option.

   fyi:
   The plugin "Activate Update Services" fixes this
