   Google analytics supplies information about your website wether the visitor came from a search engine, refferer site or targeted traffic.

   I would like to know from which search engine my visitors come from.
   Is this possible through a wordpress plugin or any other hack than programming the PHP code for it?

   Google Analytics will tell you that. Just drive down for the information.

   Traffic Sources > Search Engines

   Click on the search engines listed for a list of popular search times from that engine.
