   What directory on my server should uploaded images go?
   When I try to upload I get the message "the uploaded file could not be moved to ."

   Any ideas guys & girls?

   Firstly, You have to temporarily CHMOD your wp-contents folder to 777. Then up load an image. This creates an upload folder for you. Now CHMOD 755 your wp-contents folder. After the 1st time you won't need to do this again.
