I know this must be remedial beyond comprehension but I cant figure out how to get this information! Any help from the gurus would be much appreciated!!!!!!

Ask your host for the 1st 3.
Your host is whichever company you have bought web hosting services from. If you haven't got one, then you'll need to find one to host your WordPress site.

When you set your database up you are asked to enter database name,user name and password as for database hot they very from host to host you need ask your host use anything other then localhost.
If you used one of install programs host provides then you fill find the info when you click database.
