   YouTube is asking for both the API and the API URL.

   I have the API, but where do I find what the API URL is?

   Would have done a search for this topic, but couldn't find any search box.

   The site is a stand alone blog at http://www.edsinternettips.com and not hosted through wordpress.com.

   But you got your API key via an account on wordpress.com, yes?

   if you still have not solve the proplem. its very simple
   spose your blog is http://www.mobixone.com & you want to add blog in youtube so submit API Key then in API Url type http://www.mobixone.com/xmlrpc.php

   here you will write your url b4 /xmlrpc.php

   I host my own wordpress http://www.theofficialtonex.com and have followed the directions by mobixone and still get an 'unknown error'

   Here is the answer... your address is correct and probably has been mostly everytime you put it in, unless you had to have a drink??? However, they don't tell you the most important thing. Go in your WordPress> Dashboard> Settings> Writing> check the box that says XML-RPC and then save at the bottom of the page. Refresh your Youtube page and enter again.
